HGINFRA understands that Improving sanitation in schools is a national-level priority in India, with significant public attention. Rural schools in India lack access to safe drinking water on school premises and illness
due to water borne diseases is the primary reason for absenteeism from schools. HGINFRA is mindful that the access to safe drinking water, proper toilets and sanitation in schools could increase educational performance,
as well as boosting health outcomes for children.
Based on these lines, HGINFRA has initiated, in collaboration with Moinee Foundation, infrastructure support to rural schools by construction of toilets and drinking water facilities in the state of Rajasthan.
